Field Trip Week

Welcome

Welcome to this weeks blog. This week we went on an all day field trip. Pictures are at the bottom of this page. We visited the park and had a great lunch. We have started our new unit of inquiry. In maths we are finding out about fractions. In English we are trying to incorporate adjectives into our writing.

Hand Writing 

We are trying to take great care in order to make our handwriting the best it ever could be. Very soon we will be writing in our books with joined up writing.

PSHE

Emotions and Feelings were discussed this week in our PSPE lesson. The students told of occasions when they had experienced a range of experiences and talked about how they felt.

Congratulations 

They are doing it again! The students are interacting with

 "Study Ladder" and gaining certificates for their efforts. 

I See, I Feel, I Have Questions.

We watched a video and the learners were challenged to respond by writing questions about what they saw and how the video made them feel. More about the video will be revealed later!

New UOI

Our new unit of Inquiry has to with how we take care and look after the earth's resources. That is all I wish to say at the present time about the inquiry.

Field trip to two Museums

The children went out to inquire and research about the past. We visited the Ho Chi Min and Udon Thani museums. We were taken around both museums by very knowledgeable guides. They spoke in Thai and was lovely to see how caring our class are. Some of the Thai speaking students were translating for the new Thai speakers. The students were engaged and very interested in many of the exhibits. They showed they were awesome communicators through listening and asking relevant and interesting questions. 

It was an extremely beneficial and interesting day.

            

Lunch 

We had a fantastic lunch at the Beach side Cafe at Nongprajak park. A big thank you to JJ's mum in year six. She was the lady who cooked our food. It was delicious and there was even some second helpings!!!
