3 D Shapes, Forces and a Field Trip

Maths

This week we were focusing upon fractions and the attributes of 3 D shapes. We then attampted to build some of the 3 D shapes that we had identified.

Our Unit Of Inquiry

We set up some experiments this week to investigate magnetic force and electrical energy.

Field Trip
We set off to the airport to watch force in action as we watched airplanes take off and land. We were treated to a trip in a fire truck and shown how they would put ot a fire on an airplane if they needed to.

We are investigating different inventors and their inventions that have helped to make our lives become easier to live.

Making 3 D shapes

Meanwhile, back in the library we have got great new activities to try there. We can write book reports or write our own stories. We can make puppet shows as well.
