BOOK WEEK

Welcome to our last blog for this half term. We have had a very enjoyable week taking part in many different activities connected to reading and enjoying books.

In maths this week we have been exploring arrays and finding out that we can swap the digits around and we can still get the same correct answer.
VERY COOL!!!

We learned about how to write a newspaper report and here we are planning our report!

Here we are getting ready to go and read to the pre-primary children. This was one of the fantastic book week activities we took part in this week. We enjoyed reading our books to the children of Miss Charlotte's class and they enjoyed listening to our books.

We were learning our 2 times table. On another day we tackled open ended math questions,
where there was more than one correct answer.

Back in the library again. The author of the month is Lauren Child. She has authored and illustrated over 100 books including the award winning 'Charlie and Lola' series. Mr John read us one of her books.

Check out our pictures for the Extreme Reading Challenge

VERY EXTREME!!!

Another fun reading activity this week had us going on a bear hunt. We traveled through rivers, muddy fields and through dark caves. it was very exciting and squishy.

Have a great time on your holidays and we will see you when you get back.
