Wai kru was this week!

We shared our weeks "Food Diary" and discovered that most of us eat the same things as each other when we are at home. All of us liked to exercise after school on our bikes or swimming.

Visiting the library is always a fun time for year two. Mr. john will read stories and we get to choose books that we can take home to read during the week,

Mr. Richard is teaching the class all about systems and programming during our newly introduced computer lessons.

Our maths this week has been all about how we can learn to subtract easily in our head. We have learned new strategies that will hopefully make subtracting faster yet still accurate. we have also begun to learn how to measure items in our class with our rulers. It was fun and exciting moving around the room measuring things in our
 class.

We celebrated Wai Kru Day this week. The children gave the teachers flowers and the year two class put on a special dance performance for all the school to watch.

In class with the wonderful help and skills of Miss Am the children made some amazing flower plates.
Congratulations to the winners of the Thai competitions this week. The students had to write about their class teachers and tell why they liked them. They had to write in Thai.

Our Class showing off their great dance moves to two popular Thai songs during the Wai kru ceremony on Thursday. Well done to Miss Am and Miss Thum for teaching them their dance moves.
