Learning About Measurement and Multiplication.

The year two class were able to show that they could measure small items and knew which units of measurement they should use for this kind of activity. later on in the week we went outside to measure larger distances and items around the school, using metre measuring tapes.

                                   

                                                               

                           

Creating our slide show as our summative assessment for our unit of inquiry is progressing well. we are looking forward to sharing them with some of the students from other classes.

We always enjoy going to the library. 

                               

Exciting times in writing lessons. We have created recipes for making pizzas and next week we are going to be cooking our own yummy, hopefully healthy, food.

Congratulations to the many students who have worked hard at home using "Study Ladder." Here they are with the certificates they have earned from gaining points from the various activities they have completed online.
