Year 2 Are Amazing

This week we have started learning how to write a narrative story using “The 5Ws”

The ideas and the writing for a first try is excellent. I am very impressed at all of their efforts. They are confident to spell unknown words and are interested in using the correct spelling.

During our maths work we moved onto learning about what hundreds look like in a number sentence and we are
learning about two new symbols. They are the symbols for “greater than’ > and < “less than.”  

             Yesterday we had our first PE assembly. That was a lot of fun playing football with Mr. Ivan.

Today we had a meeting with all the year 2 parents and I hope that now you understand what the children will do in the class during this year.
