Welcome to the year 2 class blog.
Here you will find information about what has been happening during the week in the class. You will also see photos of learning activities that are going on during the week.
Some of the blog you will have read in an email or a letter I have sent out. This is just another platform, this week to say "Hi" and introduce you to year 2.
Class Expectations
I expect every child to enjoy each day of learning. They
should come to school with a full stomach and eagerness to learn. In class they
must try their best at all times. It does not matter that their best is not
the same as someone else’s best! The
children should be friendly and polite to their friends and all staff. I expect
all the children to improve their knowledge and skills throughout the year.
Parent Communication Book
I will insert each Monday what home work the children will do each afternoon. If it is too difficult for them to complete please before there are tears, put the homework away and let me know via the communications book and I will find out how to help solve the problem.
Homework
And now……..a Question!
Is there a parent who would be happy to be the year 2 parent
representative? They will have the responsibility to liaise with all year 2
parents about what is happening in the life of the year 2 class. Then feedback
to me with ideas, comments and suggestions for the improvement of the year 2
class learning experience throughout the year.
