Our class enjoys their time with Mr. Xavi in the swimming pool.

New Reading Area

We are currently creating a secret garden for our class. It will be a place where the children can go to read or do quiet work outside on the balcony. If you have any plants in pots you might want to donate to the garden please do. Thanks.

Maths

The children are being introduced to different strategies to help them do subtraction problems. Some of the strategies used so far are counting backwards, and using number lines.

We Continue To Brush Our Teeth

It was a great idea that the class came up with. They wanted to brush their teeth each day at lunch time so that their teeth could stay healthy. 

PSPE 

In this lesson today we talked about people we can trust. First though we had to understand what the word trust meant and looked like. Then we drew some of those people and made a list of their names.

Portfolio

The children are currently building their portfolio of work to share with you at the end of the term. It will include photos of their work and comments about what they have learned during lessons.

Writing

 Adjectives in my story.

The children are learning about how to make a piece of writing more interesting by using adjectives. We are always trying to remember to use full stops and capital letters correctly. 

Passion Assembly 

We are having a month where we are sharing our passions with everyone else at school. To start off this month the teachers came to school and shared something they were passionate about. The children will get opportunities to share and display their passions when they return from their break.
