Reading with Y4
Every second Wednesday of the month the year four children come to share and enjoy reading with us. It is a time where we can enjoy having older children interact with us and we can make new friends.
Library
It is one of the best times of the week.
Making a Sign
Part of our unit of inquiry has had us thinking about the use of signs in our public spaces. The signs keep us safe and remind us how to be healthy. So we decided that here at school we need to create some of these signs for all the other children to read and enjoy their public spaces safely.
We then posted these signs around the school.
Healthy Eating Month
We are trying to focus on eating more healthy foods this term and our assembly this week gave us a chance to investigate what makes a healthy meal.
Playground
Here are a set of photographs of the children using their imagination in the playground. you can see this group deciding to play naughts and crosses in the sand!
Computer Skill Time
The children have been revising their maths and English skills this week. However in order to access these programs online the children need to use many different online applications to navigate and get to their activities. The students are skilled at using computer software which is a fantastic at such a young age.
Phonics Time
We still learn about the different sounds that make the English language work. Even though sometimes it is very complicated.
