Field Trip To Town

Field Trip

As part of unit of inquiry the class went on a field trip around UD Town and Central Plaza to explore how people use public spaces. After that the children had the opportunity to explore their independence by ordering their own meals and drinks in the food court at Central Plaza. The students showed great maturity and superb behaviour around the town. Many people asked about the children and the school they were from. they were impressed that they could speak such good English and Thai

We are also considering what we can do to beautify a public space here at school. We will be working alongside Miss Cynthia's class to try to improve the site behind the school canteen.

   

Swimming 

The children are enjoying their time in the pool especially as the weather is so hot. Mr Xavi continues to develop their swimming strokes.

Handwriting 

The children are now being encouraged to use joined up writing whenever we do any writing. We practice the letter shapes each week in class. I must say they have certainly improved from when they started this work.

Viktoria's Birthday 

There was a special this week. Viktoria had her birthday yesterday and brought in a gift for us AND a cup cake each. 

Maths

We are now starting to revise our learning for the year. We started by finding out if we could remember how to add and subtract two two digit numbers. Some were a bit forgetful but by the end of the lessons they had remembered.
