Our Investigations Into Life in the Past

Our class our using their wonderful computer skills to create documents that are about how we live differently now compared to how people lived before.

Mathematics
This week the students were learning how to look at graphs and gather information from the graphs they see in front of them.

Library
In the library our book week focus has changed from being that of an author to a theme. The theme is, "Christmas" and all the display books will be about Christmas.

Last Practice For Our Loy Kratong Assembly

We worked hard all week to be ready for our presentation about Loy Kratong. I am sure you will agree that the children's hard work was rewarded when they put on an impressive show during the assembly. Well done to all of the students!

Hand Writing
We are starting to join up our writing in class. It is so great to see the effort and work the children are putting into learning how to write with joined letters.

Making Kratongs
In our Thai class this week we made our Kratongs. A big Thank you to Licha's aunt for bringing in the eco-friendly kratong bases.

Our Writing
This week we had to pretend we were Goldilocks. We had to write to explain the reasons for the things we did in the three bears house.

Clockwise and  Anti-clockwise
We have been learning about the language of direction and some activities this week have seen us following instructions that have asked the students to move from one position to another in the class.

Happy Birthday to Licha !!!

UOI Investigation
We have launched a way of finding out what we want to know for ourselves about the past. This week we started to ask ourselves questions and then go and find the answers independently via the internet. We had to decide where we will record our answers and what the work will look like. More on this in the next two weeks.

Congratulations To This Weeks Study Ladder Champs
