Do You Want Some Pizza?

Now we are all on the study ladder score board. Congratulations to all the children who have worked hard learning about multiplication this week at home.

                                                                                                     

 
 



 



We had been learning about how to use time connectives such as "first," "next" and words like "finally." So then the children wrote recipes to make healthy pizzas in our English Unit Of Inquiry lessons. The children had a great time learning the steps of pizza making. They tasted lovely and we are thinking about opening a small pizza shop in year 2   :-) 

 

We welcomed a new student to the class this week and she will be back to be with us full time after the mid term break. 

                                                       

The students were in full imagination mode and created a reading train during one of our reading lessons. It was great to see them having fun and reading as well.

  In Maths we are currently learning about the word "multiplication" and what it means. We are doing this have a better understanding of the how multiplication works. 
Just an idea change it as you see fit. 

We are looking forward to book week and had a short time to try to create our own avatar for next weeks activities.
