Year 2's Fantastic Week
We went shopping at the fresh market in down town Udon Thani.
We explored the market looking at fruit and vegetables some of which we had never seen before. We were interested in the live foods that were on display.
We discovered that there were many healthy foods to be found in the market. We also did find food that we thought were definitely not healthy.
Down at the park where we had lunch we met a few new friends.
Break time |
We met a new friend |
We gave our police friends some food.
Meanwhile down at Tops Market at Central Festival.

The students sought out different foods from different countries. We also discovered that many of the foods that we eat have more sugar than we thought.

Students were asked to write down what respect should look like at home and at school. There were some awesome answers, that showed the students understood the meaning of respect
and the students were able to tell us how we can show respect to others. well one to all the year 2 students for such a wonderful and funny assembly.
We found out what is the “scientific process” that scientists follow in order to investigate a theory. The most important part of that process being that we must create a fair test when we are investigating our ideas.
We made paper helicopters and then tried to improve our designs to make the helicopter stay in the air longer than the first one we made.

Congratulations to the latest winners of study ladder certificates. They are easy to gain.
So go on get onto study ladder and start learning!!!
In maths we had been learning about lines of symmetry found in shapes.

We have also been working hard at trying to learn how to add two digit numbers vertically.

We have been trying to think of "Big Questions" try to find answers for. the Latest question being....What makes clouds move?
Miss Am has been busy helping the students with their learning each day.

Our library visits are always fun. Its where we learn about new authors and hear stories from around the world read to us by Mr. John.
